Experience the Great American Total Solar Eclipse 2024
This event will be a day trip on Monday, April 8th, 2024, to view the Great American Total Solar Eclipse 2024 in Waterbury, VT. We will take 3 chartered motor coach buses starting from Waltham, MA. The bus ride each way is around 3 - 4.5 hours depending on traffic. Each of the buses will have lavatories, Wi-Fi, power outlets, snacks and refreshments.

Solar eclipse glasses and lunch is included with your ticket.

A number of our attendess will be from the Nashua area. We'll be making a stop both ways at the MakeIt Labs makerspace in Nashua, NH to pick up and drop off those attendees.

A lunch meal (included with your ticket) will be served at 10:30am, you will have the choice of:

The Viewing Spot
We have made arrangements with the owner of 35 Foundry St, Waterbury Village Historic District, to take over their parking lot for this party.
  • A paved asphalt parking lot. Beneficial in case of muddy ground conditions
  • 4-minute walk from the Waterbury Village Historic District center
  • Town locals will be encouraged to join our party
  • 35 minutes southeast of Burlington, VT, and right next to the highway. We'll get a good head start on traffic going back.
Dinner Stop in Lebanon, NH
We will stop for dinner (on your own) at the Upper Valley Plaza, Lebanon, NH, for 45-minutes. These food establishments are within walking distance (please get all food to-go):

3/21/2024: Eclipse Viewing Location Secured
We have permission to park our buses at the lot next to 35 Foundry St, Waterbury Village Historic District, VT. Just a 4-minute walk from the Waterbury Village Historic District center.
3/20/2024: Intinerary Change - Earlier Bus Departure
Due to mounting fears of bad traffic, we are going to move our departure earlier in the schedule, and perform the keynote live on the bus. Please continue to check back on this site for the latest itinerary plan.
